The Field Band Foundation creates opportunities for the development and self- empowerment of young South Africans through participation in music, dance and active citizenship projects.

FBF uses performances as opportunities to develop our band members self-confidence as they get to partake in positive, joyful and affirming activities.

FBF performances are colourful and enjoyable and though our members are not professionally trained performers, they bring with them an intoxicating energy and a commitment to ensuring that your guests are thoroughly delighted.

Key performance highlights include the opening and closing ceremonies at the World Cup in 2010, the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) 2018, Sansui Summer Cup (2017), FNB Run Your City Series (2019) amongst others.
