Leopard, Pookie, Crocodile, Puma, Kudu, Rhino... strange beasts from the bush war.

Now available again after being out of print for some years are limited numbers of a unique book on the fascinating armoured vehicles and weapons developed for counter-insurgency. Includes a general history of the bush war and tactics employed. Well illustrated with over 350 photos, it is the only book dedicated to the topic and details the inventive approach taken by a desperate society under attack from all quarters and forced under sanctions to use the only resources and materials available. A collector’s item, a great reference book, and a must-have for everyone who was on ‘call-up’.

A unique well researched book produced many years ago covering Rhodesia's attempts in producing home-made armoured protected vehicles, firearms, anti-ambush weapons and mines during the Rhodesian Bush War. Co-author Peter Locke served with the Rhodesian Corps of Intellegence during the Bush War and collected vast amounts of knowledge about the technology developed during the war, including firearms, anti-ambush weapons and of course the weird and wonderful mine-proof vehicles.

**Please note that at present sales are limited to the African continent.**

Reviews:

"This book is one of a kind and is highly recommended to all those interested in this proud nation's ability to overcome obstacles and meet the challenges."

E.A. Sutton-PryceFormer Deputy Minister, Rhodesian Government

"The best of its type to be published to date"

Peter MacIntosh, African Armed Forces
