First World War : Bronze Medal commemorating the unveiling of the Cenotaph, Whitehall.
According to an internet source
“Medal commemorating the unveiling of the Cenotaph, Whitehall. Obverse: Cenotaph, three furled flags with laurel wreaths. Legend: 'THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE.' In exergue: 'NOVEMBER 11th MCMXVIII.' Reverse: Two figures (left) dressed in the classical style. The male in front in a loin cloth and turban, his wrists manacled, the chains of which are broken. His right hand is extended grasping a laurel branch. Behind him, a helmeted female (Britannia or Peace) holds a mace horizontally.
The rays of the sun are seen below the horizon behind them. There is a bronze example in the collections of the National Army Museum and a silver example at the Imperial War Museum. The IWM catalogue entry says that Christophe Eimer gives a production date of 1928, the 10th anniversary of the Armistice”
