Shorter & Son Fisherware designed by Clarice Cliff in a Stunning Art Deco style - 1920's. Shorter and Son Ltd was an old pottery company founded by Arthur Shorter and his partner James Boulton in Stoke on Trent, in 1878. In 1916 Clarice Cliff was employed in the company as the decorator. Clarice Cliff came up with her "Bizarre" ware, which was a huge success in 1920. Later on, she came-up with new innovative designs boasting bold geometric designs, expressing the Art Deco age. The company had also come up with a Fisherware range, which was also designed by Clarice Cliff.

Condition: Reasonable, has a large chip on the lid and tail piece has been re-attached with glue.
