This rare vintage (c1960's) Royal Albert Tudor Rose pattern tea set trio is an amazing find and is in amazing condition for its age. The trio includes the tea cup (in the Smooth shape), the saucer and the cake plate. The pattern is white birds and Tudor rose decor on blue panels with gold gilt trim. (The Tudor rose is the traditional floral heraldic emblem of England and takes its name and origins from the House of Tudor, which united the House of Lancaster and the House of York).
The pattern has been retired and the back stamp confirms that it was manufactured between the 1960's and the 1970's. The trios has absolutely no chips or cracks and the gold gilt is still remarkable good.
The cup measures 11cm long (including the handle) x 803cm wide x 8cm high. The saucer is 14.3cm across and the cake plate is 16.2cm wide.
If you are a collector of Royal Albert, then this is most definitely a trio for your collection. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this stunning Royal Albert Tudor Rose Bone China tea set trio and to confirm the condition.
