---The Flash Battery Pack is an external power source for a higher flash capacity. This high performance power pack is a light, compact external power source, used for Nikon flashes. This is a must for event photography such as weddings, and for high frame rate Nikon cameras.
---This Flash Battery Pack SF-18 can accommodate 8 AA batteries, provides more reliable and steady power.
***Important Note:---This item only works when the flash unit is attached on the camera, it won’t work if the flash unit is off the camera (in remote). This is same as the original Nikon SD-8A battery pack.
---This battery pack only works with and recharges power to the Capacitor inside the flash, it won't work with the other units inside the flash. A flash can't work if there is no battery inside itself.
---The functions of this pack are: 1) Offer quick recycling time. 2) Offer steady and lasting power source.
Performance:
---This Battery Pack can reduce the Recycling Time to less than half of the original, while at the same time it can provide double flashes (A).
---It is suitable for continuous flashing (B).
Note: (A). Depending on the condition of battery charge;
(B) Maximum of 15 consecutive shots without break , otherwise it risks overheating.
