With the use of Bitucryl Primer consumers now have a choice when deciding on a colour for their roof finishes. Avoid using Bitucryl Primer on bitumen systems and bituminous aluminium coatings that are less than 3 months old. Being solvent based, if Bitucryl primer is over applied onto any bitumen surface, the solvent will soften the bitumen compound. A light coat of Bitucryl Primer is all that is required. When applying Bitucryl Primer use minimal pressure on each brush stroke. A heavy handed brush stroke can soften bitumen surfaces.
