Hake brushes are unique flat, wide brushes, ideal for applying media over large areas for wash, sizing, gluing and more. The flat handle and the soft hair provide excellent brush control. A Hake brush is an indispensable tool when used on delicate and absorbent Oriental papers and on art and craft projects.

Hake Flat Wash brushes are inexpensive, but are well made and so they're long lasting. The generously sized brush heads are made from sheep hair. Each artist brush has a wooden handle and a nailed ferrule for extra stability.
