The points manual function does not work. I can see the wire underneath moving but there isn't enough power to move them across. I tried some Q20 on the mechanism and they slide easier but still no joy. I tried the electric and can hear the motor trying, but I did not see movement. I think its the same issue. Maybe a spring or something inside that needs addressing? The crossover points do work but need some servicing of mechanisms as they are pretty tight. Issue is one end is shorting a bit of rail. This could easily be fixed using a bit of scrap rail, and you could have an awesome crossover point on your layout.

Regarding price

Thanks to the ever depreciating value of the Rand these items are becoming harder to locate at a reasonable price. The cost to import is increasing almost daily. If you want it, buy it because next time around it may be twice the price.
