Surface Preparation

Ensure that the surface is properly dry and in sound condition,
free from dust, grease, oil, algae, fungus or any loose particles
before painting.

NEW SURFACES
Allow new cement floors at least 28 days to cure.
Check the cement floor for conditions that might interfere
with proper adhesion, such as moisture, loose crumbling
cement, cement dust, floated or shiny cement floors, sealed
cement, release agents, curing compounds, salts,
efflorescence and laitance, dust, oil and grease.
Etching: All floated or shiny cement should be etched with
Spirits of salt. Wash surface thoroughly with water.
Cleaning: All surfaces must be sound, clean and free of oil and
grease. Use Fast Grease Buster for de-greasing.
