It isshielded for high noise immunity, to prevent unwanted noise when troubleshootingaround noise generating devices. It accurately reproduces current waveforms asthey occur. Connect the clamp to a Fluke ScopeMeter test tool or other waveformrecording device like a Fluke power harmonics analyser, to clearly see distortedwaveforms that result from non-linear loads. Current clamps, not specificallydesigned for oscilloscopes, may add distortion to the actual signal present inthe system under test.
