The Fluss Smart Intercom A6 is a passive QR-based video intercom kit designed for homes, offices, gates, garages and other controlled entrances where running power and communication cables is unnecessary or impractical. Visitors simply scan the QR code with their phone, select the resident they want to contact and start a video call through their browser. The A6 version gives you the same Fluss Intercom functionality in the smallest available board format, making it a neat option for residential and compact entrance installations.
Key Features
- Works without power or wiring. The QR Intercom Board is completely passive, so there are no batteries, power supplies, solar panels or communication cables required at the entrance.
- Visitors do not need an app. A visitor scans the QR code using their phone camera and accesses the intercom through their web browser, avoiding the need to install or register for an app before calling.
- Connects visitors by video call. After scanning, the visitor selects the resident or destination they want to contact and starts a video call to the registered user's phone.
- Residents can answer from virtually anywhere. Because calls are internet-based, residents can respond whether they are at home, at work or away from the property, provided they have a suitable internet connection.
- Designed for outdoor entrance use. The A6 board is manufactured from 3 mm DIBOND aluminium composite material with a UV-resistant finish for suitable outdoor mounting.
- Expands without replacing the entrance hardware. Additional users and units are managed through the Fluss platform rather than requiring a physical button or handset for every resident.
- Can be paired with gate control. Add a compatible Fluss+ controller separately if residents need to trigger a connected gate, boom or electric door directly from the Fluss+ app.
Did You Know?
- There are no electronics inside the QR Intercom Board. This means the entrance panel itself does not depend on mains power, batteries or a local network connection, and there is no electronic circuit at the board for a power surge to damage.
- The A6, A5 and A4 Fluss Intercom versions use the same underlying service. The difference is the physical board format, so the A6 is useful where you want the most compact installation without reducing the intercom's software functionality.
- The Intercom itself does not electrically trigger your gate. If you want a resident to open a gate, boom or electric door from the Fluss+ app, a compatible Fluss+ access-control device is required separately.
Compatibility & App Support
Visitors use the Fluss Intercom through their phone's web browser and do not need to install an app. Residents use the Fluss+ app on a compatible iOS or Android device to receive and manage their intercom access.
The Intercom can be linked with a Fluss+ controller, sold separately, to add physical gate, garage door, boom or electric-door operation. Fluss also supports One-Time Access functionality on applicable configurations, allowing temporary visitor access to be associated with a connected Fluss+ access point.
A Fluss Intercom subscription plan is selected according to the number of registered users. The current Fluss platform provides a free tier for smaller installations, with paid or custom plans available for larger user groups. Subscription pricing should be checked directly with Fluss as it may change.
