Pros -- Locks the flywheel in place when removing the harmonic balancer on a 6.6L Duramax engine with an automatic transmission. Less time-consuming than removing the starter.Use the sprockets to remove only the metal spring load check plate on the bottom of the derailleur. The tool should slide into the engine opening with the top of the tool touching the teeth of the flywheel.Remove the rubber access cover on the bottom of the derailleur using the block with screws.
