 FAL Type C

Socket bayonet introduced in the 1960s for the FN–FAL assault rifles that incorporated the 22 mm. NATO-spec flash hider. This example has the M1963 spring catch.

The electro pencil "RA" serial number prefix was used by the Rhodesian Army, indicating that this example was likely used in the Rhodesian Civil War. This example has a plastic scabbard with teardrop-shaped frog stud, identical to the scabbard on the South African R1 bayonet, indicating that it probably originated in South Africa.
