Certified Food grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is your number one go to product in a 2KG tub

• Less is more. Silica, the base of all DE is extremely light. Therefore DE with 84% Silica has 16% impurities and therefore weighs more than NW DE which has 94% Silica and only 6% impurities. The ratio of volume to mass should be around 2:1. Therefore a 2 kg or 2L tub filled to the brim, no matter the quality, should not contain more than half that in weight.
  

Apart from the obvious benefits of getting rid of external parasites, quail breeders have found that by giving DE just once a week with food, they have not only an increase in egg production, but also a higher percentage of hatchings.

• DE controls flies when given to birds so the benefits are numerous
• REMEMBER ONLY TO USE FOOD GRADE DE:
• Feed grade not the same.  Cheaper yes but with lower Silica content and more impurities
  

Food grade DE must have a minimum of 80% Silica with no added chemicals, and Nature Wise DE typically tests out at 94%, which means better quality and therefore better results, with less heavy metals
