1 X 2KG Tub, Remember that Silica, the base of DE is extremely light. Therefore it is IMPOSSIBLE to squeeze in 1 KG in a 1KG tub. Even with lower quality DE, with 85% or less Silica, this cannot be achieved. Do not be fooled. Could you get 2L of cooldrink into a 1L bottle? Same applies
- What are the benefits and uses?
- DE used externally kills fleas and ticks. It is non-toxic, has no chemicals and is therefore a safer option
- Unlike chemical insecticides, insects cannot build up a resistance to DE because it works by mechanical action. This also means that if ingested it cannot harm your animal. To the contrary, it actually has many benefits when taken internally
- It is a detoxing agent It kills internal parasites A drying agent for when your kitty has an accident on the carpet It strengthens bones and alleviates arthritis to name but a few benefits
- Remember to only always use Food Grade DE
- Feed Grade cheaper but not for human use or even for pets
Food grade has to have a minimum of 80% Silica and be chemical free
Nature Wise Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth typically tests out at 94% Silica, making it the purest form available which means the lowest percentage of impurities
Product comes in a 2L tub and has a net mass of 900gm. The higher the Silica content the lighter the product. Therefore when ic comes to weight, less is more. Note that the 2k tub is
- Full and yet only has 900gm of powder.
- White, which is a sign of purity; More grey = more impurities
- NO CLAY
