- 1 X 2KG Tub. Silica being very light, the purer the DE the less it weighs. LESS IS MORE. A 5kg tub contains 2.5 x that of a 2kg tube. A 2kg tub has double that of a 1kg tub. You cannot get 2L of cold drink into a 1L bottle.
