Soft cover, SIGNED by author, 328 pages, published by Sharp Sharp Media, 2006. First edition, first impression. Very good condition. In 1863 two brothers, Richard and Robert Glyn, came to South Africa. They left from Durban and four and a half months later they became the fourth foreign party to reach the Victoria Falls. Richard kept a diary and this inspired the Glyn's great-great-grand niece, Patricia Glyn in 2005 to shadow the 1863 expedition. She undertook the entire distance on foot. She followed the route taken by her forebears and stuck to the time frame. After about 2 200 km she reached the falls on exactly the same date as the Glyn brothers did. No overseas shipping.
