Fits all models of the 1996 - 2011, -V 1997 - 2006, elements 2003 - 2011, and 2006 to 2014.This replacement hood release latch is a repair for the part number plastic latch which will crack and break off of the cable. This can be installed in 5 to 10 minutes. This sale is NOT for the entire cable, just for the replacement latch handle that fits on of the cable.This black anodized aluminum latch handle locks into place with 2 set screws. The set screws, the AllekeyThe normal cable replacement would take between 1-1\/2 and 2 hours. This replacement latch can be installed in a few minutes. It requires the removal of the corner plastic kick plate. Then about 1inch of the remaining plastic must be trimmed off of the cable with wire cutters.
