For Queen and Freedom A Tale of the Time of Queen Boadicea and the Emperor Nero is part of the series Tales of Stirring Times. This is a story from long-ago days before the British Empire came into being. It starts with the invasion of Britain by the Romans under Aulus Plautius in AD 43 and ends with the revolt of the Iceni under Queen Boadicea.
