One isolated instance of foxing around margins, otherwise text block itself is clean: no underlining or highlighting, no annotations or marginalia. Photographic plates clean and bright.

Two interesting previous owners name inscriptions on fly leaf: Johan Els and also M. Rushmere  (perhaps SAs strongman, and the cricketer? Hard to tell, since their name inscriptions, presented here in capitals, would differ from their signatures, which might be more readily available).
