Ford Territory Door Lock Actuator Cog

 This is where Ford got it wrong in the beautiful territory !

Symptoms of faulty actuator Cog in 2004 - 2007 Ford Territory are: 

1. Doors can't  lock

2. If central lock is engaged, all doors seem to lock except the faulty one.

3. When you pull the handle of the faulty door from outside, all five doors unlocks itself even

     though the central lock was engaged.

4. In most cases, the door with the faulty actuator Cog will cease to open at all. 

5. You kept wishing that no criminal finds out that one unlocked door opens all doors.

        CAUSES: The plastic Cog inside the actuators tends to break when a passenger pulls a door handle to get in while you pressed the central lock to open for the passenger at the same time.There is always 50% chances your actuator Cog will survive this coincidence.
