Book in very good condition. Front end page tanned, due to a loose info slip on the book that was kept between the front cover and the end page. The jacket has insect damage on the folds. Now covered in a removeable plastic film.

This was, at publication, the first book to deal with the whole field of forestry in South Africa. Chapters on the forest regions, descriptions of the plantations, notes on the more important species (20), protection, silviculture, profitability, pulp and paper industries, fireboard, etc.
