For those of you who don't know, the Forge DV spacer is just a metal piece that goes between the DV and the turbo and makes it atmospheric. It hasn't been causing CEL's on the 2.0T like BOV's did on the 1.8T. It doesn't help to keep the DV from tearing, just basically for sound. they make 2 versions, the adjustable one and the non adjustable one. I got the non adjustable (because I wouldn't spend R2000 just for sound). I bought it used, but it was as good as new, I paid R900 shipped, most places sell it for around R1000.
As would be expected from Forge, it's a quality item. Fitment is perfect. Install wasn't too bad, took me about 30 minutes. Half of that was taking out 1 screw that's hard to get to.
End result: Loud as hell. Much louder than my hyperboost on my TT. I think I may actually get sick of this eventually, but for those of you looking for a cheap way to hear your DV, this is a great solution.
And its only been used on a test drive...
Still shinning new!!!
