This large fossil shark tooth from Carcharodon megalodon species, ancestor of the Great White, which grew several times the size. Measures over 109 mm along the slant. A tooth of many colours, dark steel grey enamel, some serration is left, tip is slight chipped and looks like naturally repaired. The enamel on both side has some chips, some hairline cracks, this is a normal phenomenon. This is an awesome shark tooth! Root has not been repaired; however, some erosion is visible on the gum. It is an impressive hand full to say the least. Estimated 10 million years old. Pleistocene to Miocene geologic time.
