This large fossil shark tooth from Carcharodon megalodon species, ancestor of the Great White shark predator, which grew several times its size. The tooth measures over 125 mm along the slant. A tooth of many colours, light steel grey enamel, some serration is left on both sides of the blade, erosion is visible on the gum. (True pathology) this is a normal phenomenon. There are a few chips on both sides of the blade.

Estimated ten million years old. Pleistocene to Miocene geologic time, these iconic predators ruled the prehistoric seas.
