Fossil shark tooth Carcharodon Megalodon Great white Shark. 7 cm
This large fossil shark tooth from Carcharodon megalodon species, ancestor of the Great White shark, which grew several times its size. The tooth measures over 71 mm along the slant. A tooth of many colours, dark steel grey enamel, some serrations is left.The root has not been repaired; however, some erosion is visible on the gum. (True pathology) this is a normal phenomenon. There are two chips on the left side of the blade and one small crack of the right side.

The tip of the tooth is slightly chipped, but still intact. There have been no fillers or colours added to this tooth. To say the least,its spectacular and striking, the shape is still unmistakably awesome, what a tooth.
