Fossil shark tooth Carcharodon Megalodon Great white shark. 79 mm

This large fossil shark tooth from Carcharodon megalodon species, ancestor of the Great White, which grew several times the size. Measures over 7.9 cm along the slant.  A tooth of many colours, dark steel grey enamel, very much serration is left, (in fact beautiful blade on both sides) the enamel is in fantastic condition.The root is eroded (true pathology) this is a normal phenomenon.  This is an awesome shark tooth! Root has not been repaired; however,some erosion is visible on the gum and unfortunately half the root is gone. The tip is still nice.   It is an impressive hand full to say the least. Estimated 10 million years old.
