Fossil shark tooth Carcharodon Megalodon Great white Shark.  9.2 cm

This large fossil shark tooth from Carcharodon megalodon species, ancestor of the Great White shark, which grew several times its size. The tooth measures over 92.1 mm along the slant.  A tooth of many colours, dark steel grey enamel,some serrations is left. The root has not been repaired; however, some erosion is visible on the gum. (true pathology) this is a normal phenomenon. There are a few chips (bite marks) on both sides of the blade. And a chuck is missing on the left side of the baled, which unfortunately includes a small chunk of the gum, which has broken off on the left side.

Estimated 10 million years old. Pleistocene to Miocene geologic time.  A great addition to any collection. 100 %Guaranteed Authentic fossil shark tooth! A very nice tooth for this price!

The tip of the tooth has a slightly chipped. There have been no fillers or colours added to this tooth. To say the least, its spectacular and striking, the shape is still unmistakably awesome, what a tooth. By the shape of the blade, it is very evident that this tooth was a side tooth It has the slant to the right.

Imagine the size of this Megalodon Shark, it grew to a whopping thirty metres in length.
