Fossil shark tooth Carcharodon Megalodon Great white
This large fossil shark tooth from Carcharodon megalodon species, ancestor of the Great White, which grew several times the size. This tooth measures over 84 mm along the slant. A tooth of many colours, steel grey enamel, with some razor-sharp serrations left. The gum has not been repaired; however, some erosion is visible on the gum and the enamel of the tooth. It is an impressive hand full to say the least. Estimated 10 million years old. Pleistocene to Miocene geologic time. A great addition to any collection. 100 % Guaranteed Authentic fossil shark tooth! No repairs, no restoration, but the tip has been polished. Fantastic shape, this huge shark tooth is a very cool! Imagine the size of the shark up to 30 m long! This is not a replica. The price is very low, as I get them from direct from the divers, no middle man. Some enamel is eroded away on the base and the top side, please look at the pictures. Sold “as is”
