Beautiful bronzed spelter book ends from France.

these are 2 boys that look like the may be carving and one writting. the one is holding a hammer and a metal pin/ chisel. the other just holding what looks like a pencil maybe. both sitting on large puffy cusions and have a material cloth draped over their lap.

height 19cm width 16cm

No damage that I have seen

Bases not attached.

both are stamped

 

 

The book ends are not connected to the marble base.
