THE BIG MOUNTAIN IN FRONT OF YOU IN THIS PAINTING, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IT IS CALLED JUDAS PEAK, THE LAST OF THE 12 APOSTLES. THE LITTLE TOWN TO THE RIGHT AND AT THE FOOT OD JUDAS PEAK IS WHAT WE CALL TODAY LLANDUDNO. THIS IS WHAT THE EXPLORER WOULD HAVE SEEN IN 1820 SAILING PAST AS WE KNOW IT TODAY, CAMPS BAY, BEFORE DOCKING AT TABLE BAY AROUND LION'S HEAD CORNER.
