OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS OF THE FRAME IS 1155 X 675 MM. ART 1000 X 520 MM. THE FRAME IS A GOLD AND BLACK SYNTHETIC FRAME, 80 MM WIDE AND 40 MM HIGH.  THE ART WILL NOT BE A DISAPPOINTMENT, A HUGE OIL ON CANVAS BOARD PAINTING.

The painting was signed by the artist Ernie A. Truter. The artist painted the art with brush strokes and completed the scene with a palette knife over the brush strokes, leaving gaps where the underground brush strokes can still be seen.  As per the above picture, it somehow created a three dimensional effect.  This painting has been in my family now for 17 years.

South African artist,  Ernie Truter.  The seller Ziggy2000 writes the following about the artist: "Though information on the artist is sketchy on the internet, Truter has been painting and exhibiting for years.  I have one of his paintings which was bought from him in 1976 at Zoo Lake. Depicting Fisherman cottages and and an ominous sky.  He used vibrant colours and this is truly an eye-catching painting that makes a wonderful impression.

THE ARTIST PLAYED WITH DARK AND LIGHT COLOURS AND PAINTED A STUNNING IMPRESSION OF A CAPE DUTCH STYLE FARM
