 Dale Elliott (BA LLB (Stell) AWSSA) practiced as an attorney for a decade before turning his art interest into his new profession in 1984. Janny, apart from handling the early demands of raising their four children, created their first art gallery in 1979. Dale Elliott has completed in excess of fifteen thousand paintings over the past thirty years.

They are leaders in the painting course concept in South Africa, having conducted over 400 courses over 35 years. Dale is an associate of the Watercolour Society of S.A., and his work is represented in many collections locally and overseas.

In 2004 they created and build the ultimate art facility in Villiersdorp. Here Dale and Janny Elliott, and their son Mel and his wife Carine, conduct their multi-level art courses throughout the year. The complex also has a beautiful gallery displaying their work, as well as framing, catering and admin facilities. The Elliott’s also have a gallery in Knysna, showcasing their latest work.
