Framed, Signed and Dated Gregoire Boonzaier `Hibiscus` Linocut. 51 cm x 41 cm.

Gregoire Johannes Boonzaier (1909-2005) was a South African artist well known for his landscapes, portraits and still life paintings. He was a famous exponent of Cape Impressionism and a founder of the New Group.  This lovely artwork is professionally framed as well as signed and dated (1978) by the artist in pencil. Note : Some light smudging towards the bottom (please see pics above for more detail).
