Francois Badenhorst (1934 - 2013) grew up in the Northern Province and enjoyed painting landscapes. I have two of his smaller painting on offer, both Cape Dutch Style. This one shows the homestead with the laundry hanging on a wash line strung between two poles and trees in the background. It's clearly signed and the date appears to be 1985.
The painting measures 16 cm X 11 cm and framed 26.5 cm X 21.5 cm.
