Frans Claerhout Portrait by Renowned Mia Venter

A rare and unique original oil painting rendered by renowned South African artist Mia Venter, depicting the portrait of also famous artist Frans Claerhout. We obtained this rare piece from an art dealer that we purchased our other Claerhout we have for sale, whom stated that this specific artwork was displayed in Claerhout's office in Tweespruit, and later hung in his home. It was passed on to a friend shortly before his passing in Bloemfontein. We also have a copy of a photo of Claerhout sitting in his chair in his home with the painting hanging behind him on the wall!

Mia Venter, the artist of this beautiful piece, is well-known for her stunning floral paintings which already make the high thousands.
