My wife bought this original painting in 1999 for R 5000 from a person from Bloemfontein, this painting is very close to her heart . We need to let it go due to financial reasons. We had a certificate for the painting that was given by the person she bouth the 2 paintings from. It was stolen in a armed house robbery that we were in on 15 July 2018 and the certificate that we had was in a box that was taken with the rest of the belongings that the robbers took. I have the police (Sasolburg Police station) document as proof. The only place I could find to check the painting is in Cape Town and I dont have the funds for this.

compassion were exhibited widely. I bought these mother and child paintings in 1998. After his death in 2006 his art became more valuable.
