DESCRIPTIONA nice colourful still life oil painting of a vase with a variety of flowers. It was painted by South African artist Fred Talmadge in 1951. The painting is in horizontal format and is small to medium in size. It measures (frame included) 500 x 6200 mm and without the frame the size is 300 x 420 mm. It is still framed in the original typically 1950s wooden frame - painted white. Painted on artist's board (treated canvass over hardboard). The artwork is signed in the bottom right corner and is dated (19)51.
CONDITIONThe artwork is in very good undamaged condition and can be hung as it is. The frame is a bit dirty and marked and has some wear on the edges. I have left it as is because I do not want to mess with period frames.

A nice and decorative artwork. Colourful and well executed.
