Not often seen these days, unusually large Royal Doulton Figurine depicting St George on horse back. Introduced from 1950, figure is a limited edition (not sure of how many were produced). executed in strong polychrome decoration. In perfect condition this figure is worth well over R30000. sadly this example sustained some damage many years ago. There is some damage to the rear of the figure and can be professionally restored if desired. However item displays well as is. Base is intact, thus maintaining strength. As a rare and large item, a Royal Doulton Collector might well wish to acquire such an imposing piece to have it restored to it's former glory at a very low price, less than 5% of full value.
