Inspiration Behind the Painting:
As any cat owner/lover (or any animal owner/lover, for that matter) will agree — cats leave colossal (paw) prints on your heart.
They can, in a very short period of time, wrap you around their little claw — but all in a good way. Well, most of it. They also have their obscure, sometimes demure and darn right diva ways that us owners (or should I say servants?) have to deal with.
They give a tremendous amount of love and affection back to us and their purring has subliminal therapeutic qualities.
This painting is about all these attributes and how, at the end of the day, we just love them through thick and thin!
