Good working condition free mcboot ps2 memory card, the memory card was tested and works perfectly.

Before purchasing this free mcboot memory card be sure your console is compatible with this memory card.

Free McBoot (FMCB) v1.953 is compatible with all Fat PS2s and most Slim PS2s, but it will not work on SCPH-9XXXX series Slim consoles that have the v230 BIOS (primarily models ending in letters like C, D, or R). It is also completely incompatible with the PS2 TV (PSX).

Identifying Incompatible Models

To know if your console is unsupported, check the sticker on the back or bottom of the PS2:

  • Model Number: Look for the SCPH-9XXXX series.
  • Date Code: If your console is an SCPH-9XXXX model, check for date codes like 8C (or later) or an "R" chassis, as these typically have the v230 BIOS that blocks the FMCB exploit. (Note: SCPH-9XXXX models with 8A, 8B, or earlier date codes may still work).

If your console is an incompatible 90000 series Slim, you can often use an alternative homebrew loader like FunTuna or OpenTuna to achieve similar results.

Selling as is because of the reasons mentioned.
