Gem Description: Moldavite also called Bouteille is sometimes refered to as Natural Glass. This rare gem belongs to the tektite group. Unlike crystals or quarts this rare gem has got two theories behind it. One is that it is sand particles from outside the atmosphere that melted together when it eneterd the earths atmosphere. Second theory is that the gem was formed from extreme heat from condensed rock when a meteorite hit.
