AFTER RECLAIMING OF LAND IN 1952 IN CAPE TOWN, THE WOODSTOCK BEACH DISAPPEARED.  THIS IS WHAT WOODSTOCK BEACH LOOKED LIKE IN THOSE DAYS.  I PAINTED THIS PAINTING FROM AN OLD BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO.  IN THE BACK GROUND IS LION'S HEAD AND TOWARDS YOUR RIGHT, SIGNAL'S HILL.
