Charles Nicolas Odiot was the worthy successor of his father and became the official supplier to King Louis-Philippe and the Orleans family. He excelled in the return of the Rococo style.

The claret jug features sweeping details of a lady for the handles sweeping up to a beautiful swan neck hinged lid with bands of foliage around the glass in silver and beautifully etched floral patterns to the glass. The attention to detail is lyrical . The silver floral wreaths meet a monogrammed cartouche with a stately fond of leaves coming from the base to meet the cartouche.
French Hallmarks on the handle the lid and the silver wreaths of foliage .
The base fully marked A Paris Odiot and the date stamp for the period 1825-1894
