Frithia pulchra
Small succulent, with beautiful flowers, belonging to the Mesembryanthemum family. Its endemic to the Magaliesberg mountains were it grows in cracks and crevices.
It should be kept in a pot and given a sunny position (carefull not to burn it though) and requires free draining soil. It does not like to be waterlogged, but don't keep it bone dry either. Water regularly with small amounts of water during the summer months and spray with a mister frequently.
A bit of feeding from time to time helps it flourish.
The plants on offer are seed grown, and now almost two years old. They are about 4cm in diameter (they grow slowly !)
