Stewart, undated (1946) , good hard cover in reconstructed dust jacket, with most of spine missing as per photograph, in plastic protector, owner signature inside front cover in pencil, erasable, but may be important provenance - (Faith? M Philips), some shelf wear, rubbed and bumped, internally pleasantly age-toned and secure, 240 pp. 

Frank Guthrie was also a WP and Springbok rugby player. 

Although born in , , Guthrie was educated at  in , where he also played provincial rugby for . He made his first appearance for South Africa in the 1st  of , South Africa's first as a Test nation. He was not selected to play in the 2nd Test, but returned to the side for the 3rd match at , where Great Britain won to seal a 30 series victory. His final match for South Africa was the 1st Test of , an 80 South Africa loss. Guthrie died in 1954, in , at the age of 84. Source: Wikipedia.
