On auction is a lightweight Frox riding jacket, size Small.
The jacket has cinch straps on the stomach and upper-arm areas with clips on the wrists, forearms and sides of the chest to further cinch it down. The wrists however are very roomy even with clipped down to their second position, as are the forearm clips and chest clips, so adding additional grommets is recommended on all three fronts. The wrist area does not employ zips, so folding them over when cinching down shouldn't be uncomfortable.
The jacket has a removable quilted liner and supposedly employs a layer of material to make it suitable for wet-weather riding, though as I've never used it myself I have no idea of how true this is. It has two chest vents on either side of the rib area and one on the front-right chest area. There are two decently-sized pockets on the front. No vent on the back.
The jacket has thin-foam shoulder-guards, elbow-guards and a back protector. It is apparently made of Cordura as primary textile material, which should give it good abrasion and rip-resistance.
Changing the pads for CE-approved armor inserts and/or wearing it over off-road armour it should work quite well. As a fairly lightweight and brightly coloured jacket, without its quilted liner it should work well as a summer riding jacket.
Though the jacket is listed as a 'small', based on my other medium-sized jacket I would say this is closer to a medium, although as mentioned its wrists have an enormous amount of unused space.
NB: The 'r' in 'Frox' is not accidental. This is NOT a 'Fox' jacket, it's a Pakistani jacket of some sort. Their website, froxinternational.com, hasn't been functional since before I got this jacket as a prize at a rally at the beginning of October.
