This  is the best "mik en druk" camera I have owned  - I have upgraded to a S5700 and later to a S7000 but have fallen back  on the S5000 - better quality pictures under all conditions - great for fast moving objects in sport mode.  It is the best camera to travel with and take wonderful pictures.  It is powerful yet light and compact to handle with one hand.  I have upgraded to an Pentax K series SLR camera.
