South African cottage furniture classics, fashioned from highly desirable stinkwood, restored to their original condition – it doesn’t get much better than that.
These are imposing, straight-edged, two-tier occasional tables that are near perfect cubes; they stand 53cm high, and their tabletops are 53cm square. The second tiers, resting on cross-braces are a very respectable 30cm square. The pieces also feature cabriole legs terminating in ball-and-claw feet.
The grain patterns on the tabletops of these pieces are a constant delight. Please email me for more pictures, if you’d like to see them in greater detail.
